Removal of an existing concrete floor and piers for an old fertiliser batching system. Diversion of existing services and excavation of a 9m x 40m pit. Construction of piers for a new batching system and concrete and associated works for 2 x 40m weigh bridges.

Honeymoon Uranium Mine Site, SA
Civil works for the construction of compounds for transformers and switch rooms. Fusco Constructions was contacted to complete works required urgently. Mobilisation and commencement of the project occurred within 10 days of initial contact. The job was required to be complete on a tight time line in a remote location, subject to dust storms, extreme heat and other weather events. |

Construction of a concrete loading structure including washdown area with bobcat access and weigbridge. Work carried out at the Ti West Mine site at Cooljarloo. |

Lonsdale & Regency Park, SA
Work carried out for the Government of SA (Department of Transport, Energy & Infrastructure) at Lonsdale and Regency Park. Cut and removed concrete pits and vehicle shaker plates. Constructed concrete pits and provision of services for new shaker plates and brake rollers. Works were undertaken to meet a tight timeframe, during a scheduled shut down. |

Blackwood, SA
Connection of power, water and sewer for site amenities, preparation of storage and parking area for John Holland Rail heavy equipment for the Belair rail line upgrade. A vacant site was transformed to accomodate site offices, first aid rooms, toilets and meeting rooms and a parking/storage area. Work included stripping of the top soil and compaction of the existing site. Addtional quarry rubble was introducted and compacted in layers to form an adequate base for heavy equipmeny movement and storage. Power, water and sewer was connected to temporary site huts, a covered walk area was built, including the construction of stairs, security lighting and fencing. |

Rockhampton, Queensland
Construction of a 28m weighbridge, approach and exit ramps. Work was undertaken on reclaimed land, a specialised heavy duty foundation was constructed. High strength, high cement content concrete was used due to the high corrosive environment. The project team overcame flash flooding to deliver the project on time and budget. |

Construction of a concrete drain to divert a natural creek under a new road. Other works at this site included compaction and build up of sub base and base materials to form new approach roads, construction of a weighbridge and an associated office. |
